In a major announcement late Thursday just as we had to step away, WMUB-FM 88.5 will be merging into Cincinnati Public Radio in March, and as a result, will lose all original programming.
We hear that WVXU-FM 91.7 will use the station as a repeater.
From the university's press release late Thursday afternoon:
President (David) Hodge, Provost Jeffrey Herbst and Vice President for Finance and Business Services David Creamer will host a community forum to provide background on plans for the station at 5 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, in 102 Benton Hall on High Street on Miami's Oxford campus.

Not sure what your question is exactly, but the only TV or radio station still broadcasting from Oxford is WMUB radio. It also offers two digital HD radio subchannels, one with jazz and the other with the BBC World Service.
WPTO-14 (PBS) now broadcasts its signal from a tower in Cincinnati, and legendary commercial rock station WOXY now exists only as an HD subchannel of WVXU in Cincinnati. WOXY is now one of a trio of stations broadcasting what's described as "Max FM, which is a syndicated adult hits format without disc jockeys". I believe the license and whatever local studios they maintain are now in Mason OH.
Other than WMUB-TV14 (now WPTO) and WMUB-88.5 radio, there were no other Miami-related stations in Oxford.
right . . . that was my question. i wasn't familiar with any other miami univ.-affiliated radio stations. wasn't sure if they had a student FM or not . . .
That was indeed the only station Miami U. had, and the only one currently transmitting from Oxford.
