Update on the "Two Angry Guys" show on 96.5

This morning, WFTK-FM 96.5 (96 Rock) program director Michael Walter joined Tom Gamble on the "Two Angry Guys" show. Walter does afternoon drive for the station, and was formerly a DJ on WEBN-FM (102.7) which is based out of the Kenwood Tower. According to Walter, this is a permanent move for him to replace Richard Skinner, let go 11/7 in a budget move. This means their evening guy, known as JD, will be moving to afternoons. That of course leaves 7pm-6am vacant. And most likely, they may not find anyone to fill the slot for a while.

As an internet radio DJ myself, Your Tri-State Media Watcher (tm) knows how shifting shifts works. As a matter of fact, recently yours truly had to shift for a few nights to cover prime-time.
