"And you watch and see if...[edit to original post]<br /><br />"And you watch and see if Cumulus maybe doesn't capitalize on the angst going around town right now from all those who were "Sound" listeners, and try flipping 92.5/WOFX-FM Cincinnati or 94.1/WNNF-FM Cincinnati to a AAA format."<br /><br />I used to be a fairly regular WOFX listener, but for all the classic rock potential to be broadcast, their playlist seemed pretty limited. And I can only take so much of The Eagles.<br /><br />Radio94.1 (aka Roboprogramming94.1, aka NoAdRevenue94.1) is okay I guess, but is totally devoid of any personality. That station seems a prime candidate to hire some DJs, tweak the playlist, and try to fill the vacuum left behind by The Sound. That's a change I could get behind. <br /><br />As far as Bonneville goes, screw 'em. Outside of country music, it's clear they can't find a strategy that works. And I'd rather listen to static than be subjected to Rascal Flats, et al.<br /><br />If The Sound's format was reasonably successful, I'm sure somebody will dive back in to pick up the slack, and I'll probably listen. Of course, as shifty as the Cincinnati airwaves have become, I'd only be setting myself up for more heart break. Oh well.
